A cake recipe with few ingredients and no long baking time?
The solution is called: spoon cake.
This works, for example, with fruity apples.
Spoon cake, what's that supposed to be?
It's not a recipe with quantities in spoons, even if you might think so.
If you are interested in such a method because you want to save yourself measuring cups and scales, we recommend cup cakes: all the ingredients are actually measured with one and the same cup.
No, spoon cakes are cakes that are baked in a smaller casserole dish
in the microwave
- that's why it's so quick - and can then be eaten directly from the mold with a spoon.
No long baking, no long list of ingredients and you can also do without cutting the cake into nice pieces.

Quick Apple Spoon Cake Recipe: The ingredients

1 apple
1 tsp cinnamon
120 grams of flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
50 grams of sugar
260 ml milk
1/2 packet vanilla sauce powder
10 g sliced almonds
You also need two small casserole dishes (dimensions approx. 20x15 centimetres) and a microwave.

This is how quickly you bake the apple cake in the microwave
First, peel the apple and cut it into small cubes.
Heat a pan on the stove and sauté the diced apples with the cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of water until soft.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar and 160ml milk.
Divide the batter between 2 heatproof small casserole dishes.
Scatter the stewed apples on top.
Microwave each apple pie at 700-800 watts for 2 to 2.5 minutes.
Mix the vanilla sauce powder with the remaining 100 ml milk, let the sauce thicken briefly, then spread it over the cake.
Roast the almonds briefly in a pan and spread them over the apple pie.
If you don't have a microwave, the spoon cakes can also be baked normally
in the oven
: at 175 °C for 15-20 minutes.
After baking, you still have to let the apple pie cool down (although it's difficult).
Then you can spoon it straight out of the mold.
