August, the son of Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, blew his first candle on Wednesday February 9.
To celebrate this anniversary, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and daughter of Prince Andrew, posted two photos on her Instagram account, and revealed, at the same time, the little nickname she gives to her child.
The first photo shows the two parents on top of a mountain, in a snowy setting.
On the second, we see the little boy from behind, wearing a sticker bearing his first name.
“Hello, my name is August,” it reads.
Sarah Ferguson's daughter notes in her message: “Happy 1st birthday to our little hero Augie.
You are such a special soul that lights up every room with your smile and vibes.
You made us so proud.
We love you."

Anxious to preserve the privacy of her son, the Princess of York is however careful not to show her face.
In the photos she posts on social networks, the latter always takes care to show it from the back.
Or almost.
Indeed, on June 29, she broke this rule by revealing, for the first time, August's face when he was 6 months old.
