No change in the top places of the Fifa rankings after the matches of the national teams played in recent times, such as those of the African Cup and the world qualifiers in South America, the Concacaf area and Asia.

At the top there is always Belgium, followed, as before, by Brazil, second, and France, third.

Argentina, on the other hand, rises by one position, passing from fifth to fourth place, overtaking England, which is now fifth ahead of Italy, sixth as in the last ranking before the one made known today.

The top ten also include Spain (seventh), Portugal (eighth), Denmark (ninth) and Holland (tenth).

And therefore one would think that one of the ten best national teams on the planet according to the international federation ranking will not take part in the World Cup, given that one between Italy and Portugal will remain out of Qatar 2022.

As for the rest of the ranking, the success in the Cup d ' Africa pushes Senegal up to 18th place, even if the most notable improvements are those of another African, the Gambian Scorpions who gain 25 positions, going from n.150 to n.125 in the ranking.

Twelve positions gained by Cameroon, now 38 / o, eleven by Egypt, now 34 / o just behind Canada which continues to progress by gaining seven positions.

Among the top 50 national teams in the world stands the supremacy of Uefa which has 26, against 8 of the South American Conmebol and the African Caf.
