M5s, ok with basic certificate for island travel. Catalfo, extended rules on fragile smart working (ANSA)

With 139 votes in favor, 16 against and 2 abstentions, the decree for the extension of the national state of emergency, for the containment of the spread of the epidemic and on the green pass was approved by the Senate.

The provision, which must be definitively approved by February 22, passes to the Chamber.

"I am very happy that the Senate has approved the amendment, at my first signature, which allows the use of means of transport to and from the islands of the Italian territory simply with the basic Green pass instead of the reinforced Green pass as up to now. We give a concrete answer to the citizens of the islands who in recent weeks had rightly reported a distortion that excessively limited freedom of movement. ".

Thus the senator of the M5s Pietro Lorefice.

Thanks to an amendment I first signed, approved this evening in the Senate classroom, the rules on smart working applied to fragile workers are extended from February 28th to March 31st of this year.

This means that for these workers it will be possible to continue to benefit from Smart working or, where not possible, from sickness.

From 1 April it will then be possible for specific categories of workers identified with a specific ministerial decree to continue to benefit from Smart working.

It was absolutely correct and proper to give an answer to the most fragile workers, to support people particularly exposed to the dangers of the pandemic and who have the right to work in maximum safety.

It is a commitment that the 5 Star MoVement had made and carried out to the end ".
