(ANSA) - CASTROLIBERO, 10 FEB - "We listened with interest to the requests of the boys, but we can't say anything".
The inspectors sent by the Ministry of Education to ascertain the situation in the institute after the complaint of alleged sexual harassment by a professor presented to the carabinieri by a student said this, leaving the scientific high school of the Poloscolastico "Valentini-Majorana" of Castrolibero.
The inspectors remained in the institute for over five hours, first meeting a delegation of students and then the manager Iolanda Maletta.
"We are disappointed - said a student - for the outcome of the meeting we had with the inspectors and we do not perceive, at the moment, anything concrete. This is why we have decided to continue occupying the school".
The director Maletta, on her part, left the institute without making any statement.
Despite the insistence of journalists,
the principal said nothing and hastily reached her car to drive away.
The parents of the students asked for the removal of the head teacher "due to obvious incapacity", also urging the appointment of a commissioner "who, they stated in a note, will restore order in the institute and who, immediately, will allow the children to resume their studies in conditions of safety, competence and serenity ".
he also learned of a communication that six professors of the institute, a small minority considering that the teachers serving in the school complex are 140, have sent to the students who are implementing the occupation.
