Nice, Marseille, Montpellier... Several "freedom convoys" from the south of France met in Avignon this Thursday morning, to continue their journey together towards the capital.
If the prefect of police banned their gathering on Friday in Paris, this announcement did not discourage the participants.
They were more than 250 vehicles at the start in Avignon.
Around 3 p.m., their number more than doubled when the convoy arrived in Montélimar.
“We will move on, we will see.
We are not going to let go, ”says Fred, who is taking part in the convoy.

In the procession, the trucks are now more and more numerous.
The security forces blocked several roads as the convoy passed, to regulate the traffic.
Vehicles must spend the night in Arnas before continuing their journey to the capital on Friday.
