The scenario:
Trapped in rumor prison.
The publisher's daughter Sara Manzer (Johanna Wokalek) was imprisoned for four years because she is said to have stabbed her father to death after a night of partying.
After her release, the freedom she longs for does not come: everyone around her has an opinion about her, everyone wants to take advantage of her acquaintance.
When an ex-cop who wanted to open her case lies stabbed to death in the neighborhood, speculation really begins.
Tobler (Eva Löbau) and Berg (Hans-Jochen Wagner) meet a woman who threatens to disappear behind external attributions.
The highlight:
Who is this woman?
The psychodrama of the violent criminal released from prison is reminiscent of »The Unforgivable«, the US debut of German director Nora Fingscheidt for Netflix.
Sandra Bullock plays an opaque woman who was imprisoned for a police murder and then never found her way back to life.
Wokalek acts more sensitively than Bullock – but her character, unlike that in the US film, is denied the cathartic resolution, which is why she remains an insoluble mystery for the audience.

Conspiracy myths meet Messi chaos: the stabbed ex-policeman collected mountains of material on allegedly unsolved criminal cases in his apartment;
Tobler and Berg make their way through mountains of images and paper to Palme, Kennedy, Epstein and the Oktoberfest attack.
The dialogue:
The inspector hears a suspicious punk in the station, who fled at the sight of him and ran through half of Freiburg.
Inspector: "Well, if you had nothing to do with the murder, why did you run away from us?"
Punk: Because of the warrant. Why else? I don't feel like wandering into the den because of a few fare evasion.«
Inspector: "Haja, a couple of times is a bit of an understatement, isn't it?"
Punk: »The public transport is getting more and more expensive. Who can still afford that? Traffic turnaround my ass ... hole! Ha ha.”
The review:
6 out of 10 points.
The woman who cannot be forgiven: This »crime scene« drama about the power of rumors is strongly acted and staged to the point – but in the end we are left a little at a loss.
