A 35-year-old man was convicted of stalking the young British tennis player Emma Raducanu, already winner of the last US Open.
The Bromley Magistrates' Court issued a five-year restraining order to Amrit Magar, found guilty of stalking the 19-year-old English tennis player.
Between November and December of last year Magar showed up three times outside the tennis player's home, leaving gifts and postcards at the entrance, and on one occasion stealing a shoe from Raducanu's father as a souvenir of her.
The man had also drawn the route, made on foot, to reach Raducanu's house, about 40 km from her home.
