(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 23 FEB - The Biden administration has informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that according to intelligence reports, Russia is preparing a large-scale invasion of his country within the next 48 hours.
Newsweek and CNN report, citing American intelligence leaders.
Furthermore, according to the same sources, "reports from air observers indicate that Russia violated the airspace in the early hours of today, with reconnaissance flights for a short period of time over Ukraine".
A source close to the Ukrainian government, Newsweek wrote, confirmed the warning but stressed that this is the third time in a month that Kiev has been told to prepare for imminent large-scale Russian military action.
