Mercedes and Red Bull begin to flex their muscles in the morning session of the third and final day of Formula 1 testing at the Spanish circuit of Montmelò.
The Englishman of the Silver Star, George Russell, has signed the best time so far, with the softest tires, the C5, in 1'19 '' 233 preceded the world champion Max Verstappen (1'19 '' 756 with the C3) and Sebastian Vettel's Aston Martin.
Fourth was Charles Leclerc's Ferrari in 1'19 '' 831 with C3 tires.
Seventh time for Fernando Alonso's Alpine in 1'21 '' 242 ahead of the Chinese Zhou's Alfa Romeo (1'21 '' 939).
