Covid: 41,500 positives, 185 victims

There are 41,500 new infections from Covid in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 36,429. The victims are 185 instead (yesterday there were 214). I'm 431. (ANSA)


(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 03 - There are 41,500 new infections from Covid in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.


   Yesterday there were 36,429.

The victims are 185 instead (yesterday they were 214).


    There are 431,312 molecular and antigenic swabs for coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday there were 415,288.

The positivity rate is 9.6%, up from 8.8% yesterday.

On the other hand, 654 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 27 fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits.

Daily admissions are 52. There are 9,599 admissions in ordinary wards, or 355 fewer than yesterday.


    There are 12,910,506 Italians infected with Covid since the beginning of the pandemic.

The currently positive are 1,041,462, down 20,148 in the last 24 hours, while the total deaths rise to 155,399.

The discharged and healed are 11,713,645, with an increase of 62,551 compared to yesterday.
