Twenty-four years ago, Chloe Cherry was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

is announced, Chloe Cherry is contacted by Sam Levinson, attracted by her atypical profile.
"At first I didn't think it was real," she admits today.
It was 2019 and someone messaged me and said, “Hey, it's
Euphoria
.
We really want you to audition for this role in the second season.
She records herself reading lines from Craig Brewer's
Hustle & Flow
, a film about a pimp trying to become a rapper.
"I didn't think anything would happen, but it led me to an in-person audition, they loved it."

When she first meets Sam Levinson, he can't help but tell her, "I love watching your Instagram stories.
I had to audition you."
Alongside the other actors (whose names she knows by heart in the series, as a big fan), Chloe Cherry was initially only to inherit a very small role, but the audition decides otherwise.
"Sam scrapped the plan and reshaped the whole character to have a lot more stuff," she tells
iD
.
This is how Faye was born, a nice, slow, perched young girl who thinks of nothing but taking drugs.
Like her partners in the series, the character of Faye has her own style, a very 2000s look that Chloe Cherry immediately identified.
“I would describe Faye's style as kind of a girly, slutty bimbo with a year 2000 fairy tale aesthetic. I think it's very cute!
