Von der Leyen, if Putin does not stop, new sanctions are ready

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 04 - "We know that the conflict is far from over and we remain ready to take further remedies if Putin does not stop and go back from the invasion. We are resolute, determined, united".

This was stated by the president of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen in a joint declaration with the US Secretary of State AntonyBlinken.

"Putin is gradually more isolated in the international community but despite the protests from the world, Putin's army is moving forward", underlines von der Leyen, remarking that "the cooperation between the US and the EU is the heart of the effective response" to Russia.
