The Bavarian police have released new details after a hike that left three dead.
According to a message, the climbers used an app and changed the original route.
According to earlier information, the group set out for the Maiwand on Saturday, a mountain peak in the Rosenheim district.
Three people fell when descending the Maiwand.
The dead are two men and one woman between the ages of 35 and 44.

The investigations revealed that the group followed the information provided by a smartphone app and changed the original route.
At a confusing point they then left the path for unknown reasons.
They slipped down an "extremely steep and grassy gully" - and fell down a 30 meter high rock face.
There is no evidence of third-party negligence.
The police said that there were always fatal accidents on the "demanding and dangerous" Maiwand.
