Two emergency paramedics failed in Saarland with an urgent application against the facility-related vaccination requirement that will apply from Wednesday.

The plaintiffs wanted to reach the administrative court to be exempted from the rule.

In her view, the obligation to vaccinate violates physical integrity.

»No constitutional concerns«

The court dismissed the application.

There are “no fundamental constitutional concerns” about the nationwide corona vaccination requirement for employees in medicine and care.

The Federal Constitutional Court has already established this.

The interest of the emergency paramedics in doing their work without being vaccinated must take second place to the goal of "containing the incidence of infection".

The likelihood of unvaccinated people becoming infected with the virus is high.

This goes hand in hand with “high risk potential for vulnerable people”.

The health risk for the plaintiffs from the vaccination is not comparable.
