Agenas: 'Employment of departments at 13% but growing in 10 regions'

A year ago, in Italy, the occupancy of seats in non-critical area wards by Covid patients continued to rise, reaching 38%.

It is currently stable at 13%, nationally, but on a daily level it is growing in 10 regions: Calabria (29%), Campania (14%), Liguria (16%), Lombardy (8%), Marche (16%) ), Molise (14%), Sardinia (20%), Sicily (23%), Tuscany (13%), Umbria (25%).

Even the employment of the intensive is stable at 5% at national level, while exactly one year ago it was growing, reaching 34%.

This is indicated by the data (Agenas) of 14 March 2022, compared with those of 14 March 2021.

In detail, based on the monitoring of the National Agency for Regional Health Services, compared to 13 March 2022, the occupation of beds in intensive care by patients with Covid-19 decreases in Puglia (5%), while it is growing in Basilicata (3%).

Instead, it is stable in 19 regions or autonomous provinces: Abruzzo (7%), Calabria (7%), Campania (5%), Emilia Romagna (6%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (5%), Lazio (8 %), Liguria (6%), Lombardy (4%), Marche (5%), Molise (5%), Pa Bolzano (2%), Piedmont (4%), Pa Trento (2%), Sardinia (9 %), Sicily (8%), Tuscany (7%), Umbria (6%), Valle d'Aosta (3%) and Veneto (3%).

The occupancy of beds in hospital wards in the medical area (called 'non-critical') by patients with Covid-19 drops in Basilicata (to 23%) and Valle d'Aosta (12%) while it is stable in the rest 9: Abruzzo (20%), Emilia Romagna (12%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (11%), Lazio (16%), Bolzano (10%), Trento (7%), Piedmont (9%) , Puglia (19%) and Veneto (7%).
