(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 18 - Definitive go-ahead of the Senate to the agreement between Buenos Aires and the IMF on the refinancing of the country's debt, giving short-term financial respite, leaving a serious inflationary unknown factor in the field.
LaCamera Alta has given the green light to a resolution approving the refinancing program signed on March 3 by the Government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the debt of almost 45 billion dollars, legacy of a record loan contracted in 2018 by the previous government of the liberal Mauricio Macri.
The agreement approved by the Argentine Senate with the International Monetary Fund - after the approval of the House last week - concerns the restructuring of a debt of 45 billion dollars.
