American President Joe Biden has arrived in Europe, landing in Brussels
"Biden will announce new sanctions on Russian political figures, oligarchs and entities."
This was stated by the head of American national security Jake Sullivan, speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One bound for Brussels.
"Biden and NATO leaders will discuss how to strengthen the Alliance's eastern flank," Sullivan said, speaking to reporters.
"What the United States can do to help Europe be less dependent on Russia - said Sullivan - has been the subject of intense discussions in recent days and President Biden will talk about it on Friday in particular with Ursula von der Leyen".
"With the EU leader in Brussels, American President Joe Biden will also talk about China, in view of the summit that Europe will have with Beijing in the coming days".
