(ANSA) - DOHA, MARCH 27 - The US will maintain the sanctions against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (Irgc) even in the event of a nuclear agreement: the United States special envoy Robert Malley announced today.
Iran insists that the elimination of the Revolutionary Guard Corps from the US terrorist list is part of an agreement, which diplomats say is close.
However, Malley told the Doha Forum that "'the IRGC will remain subject to sanctions under US law and our perception of the IRGC will not change."
