(ANSA-AFP) - BERLIN, MARCH 28 - The G7 countries have said asking for payment in rubles for Russian gas is "unacceptable" and shows that Russian President Vladimir Putinha "has his back to the wall".
This was stated by the Minister of the Economy Robert Habeck in a statement made known by Berlin as the current president.
"All the G7 ministers agreed that this is a clear unilateral breach of existing contracts (...) which means that a straight payment is not acceptable," Habeck said after a virtual meeting with his G7 counterparts.
