(ANSA) - BRAZIL, MARCH 29 - Brazilian President JairBolsonaro was hospitalized yesterday in a military hospital in Brasilia for medical checks after an illness.
On Monday evening, Bolsonaro was absent from an event organized by the Republican party at which his presence was announced.
"I'm sure the president is fine, they're just doing some exams, that's why he's not here," the party president Marcos Pereira explained.
