Avichai Hollander releases a new single called "Yomoladat", a song he co-wrote with Aviva Levy Yifrach, Tal Yifrach's mother who fell in battle in Sajaiya, and celebrated his birthday this month.
On the new song, Avichai writes: "On July 20, 2014, I celebrated a birthday in Gaza. There were friends, gummy candies and sandwiches. We even organized a fireworks sound for the atmosphere. That night, the company suffered a difficult event in which we lost dear and good friends and since then to this day. My birthday date turned into such a sad, guilt-ridden day that I was just waiting for it to pass.

"About two and a half years ago, I turned to one of the strongest and best forces I know for help: music. I had a bouncy melody and one sentence: 'How do you sing a birthday?'
I did not know at all from which direction to attack the subject. One day, I decided to jump to Aviva Levy Yifrach, the mother of the late Tal Yifrach who is a true friend and artist herself, to share it and maybe she will have some idea.
I reached for her and before I opened my mouth she said to me: 'Listen Hollander, I'm doing Tal's birthday and it's going to be an amazing evening of songs.
I snatched a market.
"I told her about the song and I started playing, and Aviva burst into tears and started pouring out the pain in a frothy froth, and I sit there, silent, listening, taking a sentence from here, a phrase from there, and dressing up the tune I had. Suddenly, we find ourselves singing, getting excited and excited. "I understand that in the saddest place I found something that will make me really happy. That's how this wonderful song was born."
Avichai Hollander, is a singer and creator whose debut single "Not Calmed Down" was a hit on radio stations and social media.
"Birthday" was produced wisely and sensitively by Tomer Biran and this is their second collaboration.
