In one moment of furious outburst, Will Smith, it seems, has ruined a career of several decades and no gilded Oscar statuette will likely soon be able to lift the black cloud over his head that now comes with a heavy professional price.
After it was reported in the media over the weekend that Smith (53) has resigned from the American Film Academy, it is now known that Netflix and Sony are cutting ties with the Oscar-winning actor.
Netflix has halted work on the film Fast and Loose in which Smith was to star as the head of a crime gang organization that has memory problems after being attacked in addition, Sony stopped production of the movie "Bad Guys 4", which they worked on before the violent incident at the Oscars.
This is probably just the opening shot at severing the studios' ties with Smith, when, according to insiders, other future projects starring him will be suspended at least until the rage passes.

As you may recall, about a week ago Smith burst onto the stage of the Oscar ceremony and slapped Chris Rock, after it was joked about his wife Jida Pinkett's baldness.
After the violent incident, the winds blew and cries were heard to boycott Smith, his expulsion from the academy and the denial of the Oscar statuette he had just won.
"The things I did at the Oscars were shocking, painful and have no excuse," Smith wrote in a statement he released with the announcement of his resignation from the academy, adding that he acknowledged the seriousness of his actions and the damage he had caused and was even willing to take any further disciplinary action.
