(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 03 - Nicole was found alive, a labimba who had disappeared yesterday evening in the hamlet of Fonte San Pietro, in Sant'Angelo Limosano in the province of Campobasso.
She was spotted by a cop helicopter in the bush about two kilometers from her house.
According to what her grandfather reported, who was able to see her, the little girl has only scratches and she seems to be fine.
"She recognized Me - the man explained - and she smiled at me".
The police helicopter with mountain rescue personnel on board is landed with the little girl in a sports field in the area.
Those rescuers, relatives and onlookers celebrated the discovery with tears and hugs.
At the age of five Nicole ran away from the window of her house after a scolding of her mother: she took advantage of the 20 minutes in which her mother nursed her second child.
