China does not condemn but calls for an independent investigation into Bucha

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 05 - China's envoy to the UN Security Council, Zhang Jun, has not condemned Russia for the horrors of Bucha but has asked for an independent investigation.

    Zhang said that "the images from Bucha are disturbing but the facts must be established by an independent investigation.

   Humanitarian issues must not be exploited."
