"I pushed a woman who touched my pregnant belly" (@theaveragewifeau)

Let's make this point once and for all: it's really wrong to send a hand to caress a pregnant woman's belly without her permission.

Sure and sure when it comes to a woman who is completely foreign to you.

This is exactly what happened to the Tiktok user who is in her ninth month of pregnancy, only in her case not all the viewers were on her side - especially in light of her actual reaction.

Daniel Fraser, who lives in Australia, shared in a ticketing video how in her latest shopping spree at the local Bunnings chain branch, an elderly woman she had never met approached her, put her hand on her pregnant belly and asked her what month she was in.

Daniel says she looked a woman in the eye - and violently pushed her hand out of her belly.

In a video she shared under the username @theaveragewifeau she recounted the awkward encounter: "So I walk around Bunnings and this lady - she's not very old, but probably 60 - came over, put her hand on my stomach and said 'Oh, what month are you?' "I grabbed her hand, looked into her eyes, pushed her, said 'I'm not pregnant' and walked away."

She added: "I'm already in my ninth month, but

do not touch me

."

Daniela's video garnered a battle for half a million views, 43,000 likes and thousands of comments.

Many agreed with her position and said that it is not appropriate to touch a stranger without his consent.

One wrote in response: "I never understood why people just touch a pregnant woman's belly? My wife was so upset about it, that I would try to intervene when I could."

Another added: "I do not understand why a complete stranger thinks it's okay to touch someone else's belly?".

A third viewer wrote: "Congratulations mom! I honestly do not know what people think that gives them the right to touch someone else without permission."

Another viewer shared how she reacted when she was pregnant and strangers touched her stomach: "When I was pregnant and someone put his hand on my stomach - I just put my hand on his stomach and stared at him blankly. We just held each other's stomachs."

On the other hand, there were people who did not like Daniel's reaction.

"Oh how awful, lovely lady dared to touch your belly. God, what is your problem?", One wrote and another added: "I understand people should not touch, but I think it comes from a place of excitement at the thought of a new life. Do not underestimate. "

Another viewer wrote: "It was a bit vicious. The boundaries exist, but she did not mean to offend."
