Recipe: How to prepare the creamy one-pot pasta with peas and ham from your emergency stash
Dice the onions and the boiled ham and fry both in a large pot with a little olive oil (according to the Stiftung Warentest, this is the best).
Then add the pasta, the vegetable stock and finally the cream and stir well.
Cover and simmer over medium-high heat until pasta is tender, about 10 to 12 minutes.
If necessary, add a little more vegetable stock if the noodles are not yet cooked and there is no liquid.
Add the grated mozzarella and peas in the last 2-3 minutes, season with salt, pepper or any other spices of your choice and serve the
creamy one-pot pasta with peas and ham.
Since you are cooking the noodles directly in the sauce, the starch they contain will thicken the sauce right away.
In addition, the taste of the cooked ham goes wonderfully into the pasta and a creamy, flavorful dish
is created quickly and easily
that you are guaranteed to cook more often.
The fact that you also have less dishes in the sink becomes a pleasant side issue, which you shouldn't neglect if the water is temporarily turned off.
