(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 09 - On the average of the EU-27, GDP in 2021 reaches levels higher than those of 2019, before the start of the pandemic, with a total of 14,447 billion compared to 14,017 billion in 2019 but this does not happen for Italy, Spain , Portugal and Greece which in the year still have lower results, at current prices, compared to those of 2019. This is what emerges from the Eurostat tables, according to which Italy with 1,775.4 billion euros improves compared to 1,656.9 in 2020 but is still lagging behind the 1,796.6 in 2019. In 2018, the result was 1,771 billion.
