Accident site on Autobahn 30 near Ibbenbüren: fully closed

The Autobahn 30 near Ibbenbüren had to be completely closed on Thursday morning after a truck loaded with rapeseed oil overturned.
The driver of the truck lost control of his vehicle around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday night for reasons that are still unclear, a police spokesman said.
The driver was therefore unharmed.
The tractor-trailer was separated from the trailer as a result of the impact.
As a result, the trailer tilted across the road to the left side of the vehicle.
According to the information, several thousand liters of the 25,500 liter load ran onto the road.
The police have started the investigation and called on possible witnesses to come forward.
