VIDEO. 'We got him': Suspected NYC subway shooter arrested

The mayor of New York, Eric Adams, announced at a press conference: the alleged shooter in the New York subway has been arrested.

The manhunt lasted 30 hours in a panicked Brooklyn.

Frank James, 62, allegedly fired 33 bullets in the subway on Tuesday, April 12.

Ten people were hit, 23 in total were injured in the attack.

Cap on the head, bag in hand, it was 3 passers-by who spotted Frank James in the East Village district of Manhattan, thanks to the photo released by the New York police.

“We took the photo on our phones, we saw it.

We all three confirmed it was him.

Frank James, already known to the police, will be prosecuted under a law that prohibits “terrorist attacks and other violence against (…) public transport”, announces a federal prosecutor.

"He will appear in federal court in Brooklyn and, if convicted, will face a life sentence."
