Vivendi takes a new step in its takeover of the Lagardère group.
From April 14 to May 20, the first launches a takeover bid on the 55% stake in the second that it does not yet own.
The offer is structured in two parts.
The first, known as the main offer, makes it possible to immediately buy back Lagardère shares at 25.50 euros (dividend of 0.50 euro attached).
The second, called subsidiary, makes it possible to obtain a guaranteed price of 24.10 euros until December 31, 2023.

Clearly, shareholders who no longer want to follow the new adventure of the Lagardère group can choose the main offer.
On the other hand, those who believe that the Lagardère group could have new growth prospects within the Vivendi group can subscribe to the subsidiary offer.
This last option makes it possible to benefit from the distribution of two dividends: one in 2022 of 0.50 euro and the other of an amount which will be fixed next year.
