Fate wanted and the Desert Coachella Festival, one of the annual music and cultural events considered in the US and around the world, took place this year in parallel with Seder night. La in California, and the celebration will last until the 24th of the month.
In order not to deprive Jewish visitors, a "Shabbat tent" has been set up on the grounds of the festival since 1999, where traditionalists are invited to pray and receive the holy day properly.

But the meal in the Shabbat tent was not the only Seder night that took place this year at the festival.
Another more prestigious event, which cost $ 75, also took place at Coachella's VIP complex, and chefs Diego Hernandez and Donny Masterson were in charge of his menu.
The organizer, Nate Auerbach, a partner in the company responsible for the festival's social activities, marketed the meal as "Seder Night in the Desert."
The meal included dishes like smoked fish feta on a bed of avocado chickpeas, and participants were provided with a symbolic and abbreviated version of the Haggadah, but prayers and candle lighting were also there.

"There are a lot of people who sacrifice their Passover to be here," Auerbach said.
"They are not looking to make order properly, but more in the direction of a family meal. With us, they could join friends - or strangers - and be a family on the first evening of Coachella, which is also Passover eve."
