(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 21 - Emmanuel Macron will close his electoral campaign tomorrow in Figeac, in the rural department of Lot, where he is expected for a final rally two days from the ballot for the Elysée against Marine Le Pen.
The president-candidate will speak tonight on the 20:00 TV news in France and tomorrow morning on radio France Inter, before "speaking in Figeac, in the heart of France, about the rural world and relocations ...", explains a councilor.
The one in Figeac will be his second meeting after last Saturday in Marseille, essentially devoted to ecology.
Goal? "Continue to accelerate to the end" to avoid the "demobilization" of voters.
This afternoon, Macron is expected in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis, in the north of Paris,
where the candidate of the alternative left, Jean-LucMélenchon took the lead in the first round of 10 April.
According to his loyalists, Macron should speak to his supporters on Sunday evening, after the announcement of the results, on the famous esplanade of Champ-de-Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
A speech that according to the faithful should be sober or in any case take into account the "gravity" linked to the worsening of the war in Ukraine.
According to a survey carried out by the Ipsos per leMonde Institute, La Fondation Jean-Jaurès et il Cevipof, the outgoing president earns two points compared to the last revelation in April, collecting 56% of voting intentions, against 44% of the challenger candidate of the Rassemblement National .
According to another poll, published overnight by the Elabeper BFM-TV institute, it was always he who won last night's debate on TV against Le Pen with a large detachment.
Macron was judged the most convincing by 59% of the interviewees, the far-right challenger by 39%.
