Shlomo Gronich's storm and his controversial statement continue to give its signals and refuse to remain silent.
This is despite the fact that the veteran singer's family has revealed that he is dealing with acute dementia, to which he attributed his words, for which the musician also had time to apologize.
Many figures in the world of culture and entertainment (and politics) sought to express their opinions, each inciting the discussion to his personal place - with above all the storm hovering the eternal ethnic demon that rules Israeli society.
Now it's the turn of the singer Idan Amidi, who during his last performance addressed the audience directly and was required to address the issue.
"I am a Kurd," Amidi began.
"This is my grandfather, who was an amazing man," he shared, with a picture of his grandfather appearing on the screen behind him.
"And with us, in the Kurdish neighborhood, there were a lot of proud 'Khachachim,'" he said with a sting and pride.
"They taught me to love. That we will be able to love everyone with the help of the name," he concluded before the next number.
