A bride and her caterer have been arrested in the United States for allegedly mixing marijuana with their wedding food as a prank.
This is reported, among other things, by the broadcaster CNN.
As court documents revealed on Thursday, several guests at the celebration in February in the state of Florida called the emergency services because they were feeling unwell.
The bride's aunt therefore had to go to the hospital, where the psychoactive substance THC contained in marijuana was detected in her blood.
palpitations and strange thoughts
Other guests had reported heart palpitations and strange thoughts, it said.
A friend of the bride reportedly asked the caterer if he put marijuana in the food -- Caesar salad, pasta and bread -- which the caterer apparently admitted.
The bride also boasted about the prank.
The authorities took samples of the food, which confirmed the suspicion, as reported by CNN.
The two suspects are said to be charged with violations of food regulations and drug laws, among other things.
Both had posted bail and would appear before a judge in June, it said.
