In 2013, Amir Gabriel and his band "The Partners" released their debut album "Yesterday Here and Tomorrow".
With the songs of the album many performed all over the country.
But after a long period of performances, Amir decided to stop everything and move on to behind-the-scenes activities.
With productions of conceptual music events, he gradually became a major figure in the fringe music scene in the country.
One that works quietly behind the scenes without a lot of noise and ringing, and helps the alternative scene from time to time to raise its head above the water.
In the age of ticking, this is not a simple thing and certainly not a given.
He is now returning to the front of the stage, with a new single called "Home" and tells about the song's connection to his life and the war that is taking place in Ukraine.

Although he returned to the musical activity with the band two years ago, the return was slower than expected.
Not just because of the corona, but mostly because of the family accompaniment to his father who was battling cancer.
"A difficult and dark period that brings with it other proportions to life," says Gabriel.
"It came as a complete surprise to us. With the outbreak of the corona we were informed that my father had cancer and that treatments were now being started. Anyone who was not there would not understand what this meant. The treatments took almost two years. Two difficult and depressing years with impossible reality. "But this disease has left the whole family in a trauma that to this day they are learning how to deal with."
The new song, "House," tells of what Amir went through during those years, in which he sought the right and safe place for himself and his family.
A few years of living in a kibbutz, returning to the city, ups and downs, keeping the family cell, and in simple words the constant search for the safe place - inside and outside.

On top of that, one can not ignore the additional meaning that the song gets these days.
"These days the children of Ukraine are in one moment uprooted from their homes in the cold, women leave love behind and go on a survival journey, intellectuals hold a rifle to fight for the house. We all need our safe place at the end. Without it we are lost. And what happens these days in this terrible war, it "And it's also one of the reasons we decided to put the song out now. It's our way of strengthening and showing empathy with the terrible suffering that the people of Ukraine are going through these days."
Amir Gabriel and the "partners" are: Amir Gabriel - vocals, Ronen Rosenberg - guitar, Nir Kafri - drums, Adir Lebel - bass.
