Netflix's True Crime Series gets a plot and intriguing plot Israel today

"The Stairs," the streaming giant's acclaimed crime series from 2018, is being adapted into an eight-episode mini-series, starring Colin Firth and Tony Colette.


"The Stairs," the successful and award-winning Netflix true crime series from 2018 that is considered one of the streaming service's biggest hits, will soon become an eight-episode dramatic mini-series, starring actors Colin Firth and Tony Colette.

The series will be launched on May 5 and will air in the US on HBO Max.

The original documentary series focused on the death of Kathleen, who was found lifeless in 2001 by her husband Michael at the bottom of the stairs in their home.

Although Michael claimed that Kathleen stumbled down the stairs and died as a result of the beatings she sustained at the time of the fall, the post-mortem report stated that Kathleen was murdered using blunt object blows. Michael was charged (and convicted) of murder, .

However, this is actually just the beginning of the fascinating affair, which is branching out, transcending the US borders, and even involving other victims, surprising details about Michael Peterson's personality and chilling cases that occurred in the distant past (not completely ruined for those who do not yet know the details).

Along with Firth and Colette in the lead roles, the new series will also feature Juliette Binoche, Sophie Turner (Sansa from "Game of Thrones"), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Arnold's son), Dayan Dihan ("Chronicle in Real Time"), Parker Posey ("Lost In Space ") and Michael Stolberg (" His Honor ", based on the Israeli series of the same name), along with other familiar names.
