Tatort actress Stefanie Reinsperger spoke out against stereotypical casts of female roles on the occasion of her award with the "Romy" television prize: "It's still the case that women like me aren't visible enough in film and television," said the Austrian in a video message for the "Romy" gala on Saturday evening in Vienna.

"Write the roles, write us these stories!" she said.

A few days ago, the 34-year-old published a book entitled »Pretty Angry«, in which she deals with hostilities about her appearance.

Reinsperger received a "Romy" award as the most popular series actress in "Flamengirl" from the "Landkrimi" series of Austrian television.

She plays a policewoman who is on the trail of a series of arson attacks in the Salzburg region.

The production, which has already aired on Austria's ORF, will be shown on ZDF on May 23.

Reinsperger is also known as an investigator in the Dortmund crime scene.

As a theater actress she is a member of the Berliner Ensemble.

Prizes also for Antonia Moretti and Nicholas Oczarek

The »Romy« audience prizes are awarded annually by the Austrian daily newspaper »Kurier«.

This year, Philipp Hochmair was honored as the most popular film actor for his role as a Nazi criminal in the TV drama »Die Wannseekonferenz«.

Antonia Moretti, who stood in front of the camera together with her father Tobias Moretti, won the female category.

Nicholas Ofczarek won »Romy« as the most popular male series actor for »The Passport« and »The Ibiza Affair«.
