Does Vladimir Putin have Parkinson's?
His recent performances sparked rumors of an illness that shows warning signs early on.
Moscow - Since Vladimir Putin's public appearance at the Easter service in Moscow's Savior Cathedral, speculation has increased that the Kremlin ruler may have Parkinson's disease.
A few days earlier, a video with his Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had caused similar rumors.
Apparently, the Russian President showed several signs that could indicate the disease of the central nervous system.
24vita.de reveals which symptoms and, in particular, early warning signs of Parkinson's disease can be identified.
In Germany, hundreds of thousands suffer from Parkinson's disease.
In nervous system disease, brain cells that produce dopamine and are responsible for movement gradually die.
The nerve cells in the brain communicate with each other with the help of certain messenger substances.
The messenger substance dopamine normally supports the nerve cells in coordinating muscle movements.
If the brain cells that produce dopamine die, the nerve cells can no longer coordinate the movement sequences properly.
In Parkinson's patients, the ability to move is therefore increasingly restricted.
