 "Italy will continue to do its part on the basis of the indications decided by the Italian Parliament. From this point of view,

", Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerini told Ramstein, referring, underlines the Defense, to the second inter-ministerial decree" currently being finalized, of the same nature as the previous tranches of aid, provided on the basis of requests from the Ukrainian side and in compliance with the resolutions of the Italian Parliament "." "We asked Prime Minister Draghi and Minister Guerini - said the M5s leader - to report to Parliament so that there is full agreement on the political direction and full possibility of knowing the government's programmatic interventions" on arms in Ukraine.

"A further hearing will take place on Thursday by the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, at Copasir for an update on the situation in Ukraine, also in light of the allied meeting held today at the Ramstein base in Germany. During the hearing, information will also be given on the new inter-ministerial decree concerning the dispatch of equipment and weapons to Ukraine in accordance with the provisions of law decree 14/2022 ".

This was announced by the president of Copasir, Adolfo Urso.

Copasir, Urso informs, "will meet already this evening for the follow-up to the debate on the Report to Parliament on the consequences of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the field of energy security. The examination will continue in tomorrow's session".

Also tomorrow, continues the chairman of the Committee, "the

hearing of the honorable Paolo Guzzanti, former president of the parliamentary inquiry commission, in the context of the fact-finding inquiry 'on the methods of implementing the declassification of documents for better conservation and accessibility of documents';

while the hearing of the pro tempore Chief of Defense Staff, General Ezio Vecciarelli, is scheduled for Thursday as part of the fact-finding investigation on European intelligence and defense ".
