Berlin – German consumers are groaning under the increased prices, which have affected almost all areas of life since the outbreak of the Ukraine war.

Because in addition to the energy costs, which had already risen in the previous year, there is now also a rapid price development for petrol and diesel, raw materials and food.

The traffic light coalition now wants to help German consumers with the so-called relief pact for 2022.

One pillar of the measures is the so-called energy flat rate, which is intended to help absorb the increased costs for electricity and gas.

But not everyone gets the 300 euros paid out.
