The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed the readiness of university hospitals around the clock to receive emergency cases and provide free medical and emergency services to citizens during the days of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The ministry indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that it has intensified the number of shifts in all hospitals and has provided all the required supplies of medicines and medical equipment, in addition to taking all precautionary measures such as cleaning and sterilization in the emergency departments, surgery, intensive care, operations, industrial college, incubators, competitor departments, gynecology and obstetrics.
The hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education are distributed in the city of Damascus: Al-Assad University, Mouwasat, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Al-Biruni, Cardiac Surgery and Pediatrics, in Aleppo: Aleppo University Hospitals, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Obstetrics, in Latakia: Tishreen University Hospital, and in Homs: Al-Baath University Hospital.
