The tough and challenging kung fu game "Sifu" gets new content in 2022.
The developer studio Sloclap has presented a roadmap.
Released in early February, Sifu was immediately hailed by fans as one of the best games of the year.
However, the kung fu game will probably not be able to compete with the equally extremely challenging “Elden Ring” for the Game of the Year award.
Nevertheless, "Sifu" is a real surprise hit.
And the best thing is that more content is planned that players will get for free.
The developers have now published a roadmap and revealed which innovations are planned for "Sifu" over the course of the year.
"Sifu": New outfits, difficulty levels and modes
Sloclap has not given exact dates for the updates, but there will be
four in total
- one each in spring, summer, autumn and winter of this year.
And this content is planned:
Spring Update
: New difficulty levels - Student, Disciple and Master - as well as an advanced training mode.
Outfits will be customizable.
Summer Update
: Enhanced scoring system and various gameplay modifiers - including a "one life point" mode, or one that unlocks all abilities.
New outfit.
Fall Update
: Replay editor plus new modifiers and outfits.
Winter Update
: All new arena game mode - more details to be announced at a later date.
More modifiers and outfits.

"Sifu": The first update is expected to come in May
The first content update is scheduled to appear sometime
in early May
, so the wait shouldn't be too long.
How extensive the updates will be is still unclear at this point in time.
"Sifu" is currently available exclusively for PS5, PS4 and PC - an Xbox version is also expected to appear at a later date.
