The reason for this is "Anzac Day", which commemorates Australian and New Zealand victims and veterans of conflicts and marks the anniversary of the landings in the Dardanelles on April 25, 1915. At that time, soldiers from these countries intervened in the First World War for the first time.

Icy Frost Protection (04/04/2022)

In a vineyard near Chablis in the Burgundy region, the buds of the vines are covered with ice that protects them from frost.

A fine spray of water envelops the blossoms, and when they freeze, crystallization heat is generated, so that major frost damage can sometimes be prevented.

April's drop in temperature is threatening vineyards and other important crops across France.

As Météo France announced in Paris, the average temperature across the country last night was minus 1.5 degrees – the lowest value in 75 years.

Help, I shrunk the airport!

(04/01/2022)

The oversized lollipop that adds a surreal touch to this scene from Singapore's Changi Airport is just a promotional display.

However, what is happening at the airport is unusual, because apart from two stewardesses, nobody is on the road.

Singapore opened its borders to fully vaccinated travelers on April 1, but large numbers of passengers are yet to come.

The number of corona cases had increased dramatically since the beginning of the year.
