Long under the radar, the French social network BeReal has suddenly gone viral in the United States.
There, at the beginning of April, it reached first place in social network downloads on the Apple and Google application stores.
According to data aggregator Data IA,
“Over the past two weeks, BeReal saw 710,000 downloads on iOS and Google Play combined, a 137% increase over downloads in the previous two weeks
