'Banca Generali - A champion as a friend' starts again, the largest sport education event in Italy dedicated to primary school children.
After two years of pandemic, the tour involving four great stars of Italian sport is back.
From Adriano Panatta to Francesco Graziani, passing through Andrea Lucchetta and Martin Leandro Castrogiovanni.
All together for ten stages from May to October with the start tomorrow in Teramo.
An initiative that takes on, this year more than ever, an even greater value because a recent IPSOS survey has shown how Covid19 has forced 48% of Italian children to suspend any type of sporting activity.

"There is a desire to do. We have suffered two years, the whole world has suffered and in particular the little ones. For us it is important to take back and take the children out to play in the parks and squares" said the former champion of tennis during the press conference for the presentation of 'A champion as a friend' at the Tennis Club Parioli in Rome alongside his brother Claudio Panatta, manager of the club.
An initiative accompanied by Banca Generali, in its eleventh year as main sponsor of the project.

Because "sport is health and when it is done with a smile it becomes fun and welcoming" added Andrea Lucchetta from the press room of the club chaired by Paolo Cerasi, while Castrogiovanni, on his debut at 'A champion for a friend', added: " I am honored to be here. Sport must be happiness, certainly sacrifice, but when you do it with a smile you do better. Four different sports such as football, tennis, rugby and volleyball will do great for children. All together we can really help the little ones. "
