(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 09 - Russian President Vladimir Putin today took part in the march of the so-called Immortal Regiment on Red Square, during which the descendants of the fighters who participated in the Soviet war against the Inazis parade carrying photographs of their relatives.
Putin, reports Tass, marched showing a photograph of his father, who took part in the so-called Great Patriotic War.
The president had attended the Immortal Regiment's march five times from 2015 to 2019. Over the past two years, the event had taken place online due to the Covid epidemic.
