US, strong condemnation of killing of reporters in the West Bank

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MAY 11 - "We are heartbroken and we strongly condemn the killing of American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in the West Bank. We need an immediate and thorough investigation and whoever is responsible must be brought before justice".

The spokesman for the US State Department, Ned Price, writes on Twitter, underlining that his death "is an affront to the free press all over the world".
