The competition bill was approved by the Senate.
The text had 180 votes in favor, 26 against and one abstention.
It is the first go-ahead.
Now it will move to the Chamber, after a process started in December and a pressing also by Prime Minister Mario Draghi to unblock it and put a first fixed point.
Due to the vastness of the issues addressed in the provision, the Chambers have decided to divide up the work in a coordinated way, according to a plan by Minister Federico D'Incà.
Therefore, the approval in the Chamber is expected at the beginning of July and, after further changes, the final ok is expected in the Senate by the end of July.
