Always stronger, always faster… The day of its release a week ago, Wednesday May 25, “Top Gun: Maverick” had recorded 320,887 admissions on our territory, thus signing the second start of the year just behind "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", which had attracted 335,459 viewers when it was released on May 4.
Over the following days, and thanks to an Ascension weekend that allowed the action film with Tom Cruise to fill up, the leading duo reversed.
For its first week of operation, the sequel to “Top Gun” smashes everything: 1,328,181 tickets sold, thus signing the best start of the year ahead of “Doctor Strange…”.
